故事发生在世界的都会纽约四个身份不同背景不同的女人汤潘凌风和何小藕因各自的心愿来到纽约进行圆梦她们从事业的最低谷开始做起经历异国他乡的人事沧桑面对爱情生活的艰难选择最终得到自己的人生梦想汤潘只身从中国大陆来到美国一边在纽约时装学院学习时装设计一边苦苦寻找失踪的爱人—画家荀大路通过自己的努力汤潘最终成为著名时装设计师而凌风凌姐何小藕等人也在纽约开始了各自不同的故事
